It's hard to say JJ. Sometimes it's a couple of  weeks, sometimes close to the maximum time.....I think they say up to six weeks? Depends on how busy they are. I had one knife a long time ago take just under two weeks. And a Congress that they completely rebuilt for me take six weeks. It was worth the wait though!

CASE repair...

Once CASE officially acknowledges receipt, of a knife for repair, about how long does it take?

I know that it was received on May 21st and I got an email giving me a repair number on June 5th.

I have some great pics from the Pres Day at SMKW, working on going through them and will post today or tomorrow.  We had a great time and my grandson got to even do a drawing for the first give away!

John, I keep all the boxes to the ones I collect. But if I buy in a clam pack, I intend on using it.

Well said Craig!

You should have stopped by Jungle J's David!

I totally agree with you about the stores J.J.!

Boxes don't matter if it's an EDC Billy, but if you are a collector of mint knives and never use the knives at all then boxes are a must!

Tobias, unfortunately all the mom and pop Hardware stores are going away and all that remains are places like ACE etc., it depends on location I think!

You guy's are guilting me out for not stopping in on my local Authorized Case Dealer recently.  Jungle J is only about 5 miles away.  It's run by some of his kids now but still has an amazing selection.  I last bought a Case Scout knife in mammoth from them to give to a friend's son when he got his Eagle Scout badge.  Thought I had a picture but can't seem to find it now.
