So you who know me also know about my grandson Aaron (Winter Shadow) . . . he just started college and will be turning 18 soon . . . so what do you think would be a good knife to gift him for this important right of passage into manhood? Most of you have experienced this step into manhood, I, clearly, have not, so I do not know what is appropriate. He already has the basics, a Leatherman Wave, a Buck 110, and a Buck 119. So throw some suggestions at me. Hopefully less than $100, or…

He likes fixed blades, especially swords, but a folder wouldn't be out of the question.
What is the best knife for whittling , what do you whittler's use ?tag:iknifecollector.com,2014-01-19:3181080:Topic:10560252014-01-19T02:06:17.303ZTerry Rayhttps://iknifecollector.com/profile/TerryRay

My mother, who is now 90,used to make a chili to die for. People who swore they didn't even like chili would eat hers till their ears popped. Unforunately, at her age she no longer remembers the recipe. So now my quest is to find the ultimate chili recipe. Who has one to share ??

Hi, my name is Craig, and I'm a meat eater! Yes it's true, I love meat.

Do you have a favorite meat? Or do you just love all meat? OR, a favorite way to cook meat?

I'd say I love all kinds of meat, and my mood decides on what I want at any given time. But, if some one told me I could eat only one kind of meat, I think, I'd have to pick Pork. Pork roast, pulled Pork, Pork BBQ, Ham......there's so many basic ways to eat it.

I am a hot sauce addict! My favorite is generally Tabasco. But there are others that I like too. Gunshot Sauce I love, though it isn't really hot....even their "Hot" one. But it has great taste, and can use it for marinade, BBQ sauce, everything. I also have been trying out Ole Smokey Tennessee Moonshine Hot Sause. Once again not really hot to me, but very good. I always use Tabasco as the baseline for hotness.
