Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This little gem arrived today and was immediately placed into service on my key ring. It will be replacing my black Victorinox Classic which has served me well for many years.

The Victorinox Broker was discontinued in 2009. It is 58mm or 2.25" in length and, as you can see, contains a small knife blade, a nail file with cleaner tip, scissors, and a key ring. The scales are machined (or turned) Stainless Steel and one side includes a clear rectangle to engrave your name or initials. It also came with it's own individual carrying sheath, not shown in these pictures.

An exceptional find.  Quite elegant.  You may need to polish your keys as a knife like this doesn't belong with just the run of the mill boring lock openers.  My compliments, Ron.

Classy! That would be too classy for my keys! LOL!

It really looks sturdy. Your camera takes some great pix, is that automatic or will you share some tips? Well done, and a great find as well.

Thanks, Toby! Funny thing is, I have polished my keys before! So it's really not that much of a stretch to think that I might do it again. We'll see...

Thanks, Craig! And, you're right. It is far too classy for you. D'oh! lol

And thank you, also, Andy! My camera was gifted to me by a friend who had been looking at the pictures I was taking using a very old 2 megapixel Sony Mavica. He just walked up to me one evening and handed me a box. Inside was a brand spanking new camera! It is a 16 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ1 that is usually set on automatic and 5 megapixel resolution. Ironically, the Sony Mavica was a similar gift some years earlier. I am always reminded of the lyrics in the old Bob Dylan song, Idiot Wind -- "I can't help it if I'm lucky." (See lyrics here: http://www.bobdylan.com/us/songs/idiot-wind )

Cheers to all and thanks!

Those engine turned steel SAKs are sweet.  I have a Director that I'm quite fond of.

Paul, I agree! The stainless Steel SAK's are a prize to behold! Here are some pics of my newly acquired Broker with a vintage Victorinox Prince...

And here are a couple of the Prince by itself. You will notice that it has no key ring or scissors. Instead it has a very handy smaller Pen blade...

I absolutely love these Stainless Steel SAK's! They are handsome and quite rugged. The only thing that they lack are the Toothpick and Tweezers which are commonly found on the Victorinox and Wenger cellidor models of a comparable size and tool selection. Of course, I always have a larger SAK on my person at all times, so this is a non issue for me.

And a note to Toby: I DID polish my keys, again! lol

Cheers, mates!

That Prince is SWEET!  Wish I'd grabbed one when I had the chance.

Very classy! Look good together.

No, I don't need to start buying Victorinox again. No.

Paul, feel free to post pics of your Director in this thread if you wish. The more the merrier!

Craig, perhaps need is the wrong word.  I think the word you're searching for is "SHOULD"  You should statert collecting Victorinox again.

Aren't they purty!?

I'll have to take a pic of it and get it up soon.

I had a major computer malfunction a while back and lost everything.

Well I'll tell you one I wish (once again) I never got rid of.....I had a genuine pearl Classic.  It was beautiful!

Sorry Ron, didn't mean to hijack your thread.
