My brother was not a knife collector and I don't recall him even carrying a knife.  I don't know how or why he had this one.  He lived in Missouri all his life.  I don't know if he was ever in Chattanooga.  My sister in Missouri had it and sent it to me.  It appears to have never been used or sharpened.  When I received it, it had no snap but a little Coon P on the hinges cured that.  As you can see the bolsters on this side have become dulled.  I intend to try a little Flitz on them to see if that will brighten them up.  Other than that I will make no changes to it.
