I took the knife out of the sheath to photograph it in the tree in a shot I posted earlier today. Unwittingly, I set the sheath opening toward the oncoming snow -- the snow had found its way into the sheath, almost to the tip! Definitely taking a snow day, it's just too late in the year for this, & we've had an arctic air mass hanging over us for weeks now...
