The card in the box on the kinfolks knife had an article that stated: The knife edge was tested in the peeling of pineapples. The high speed steel blade regurly used had to be resharpened every four hours. the Flame Edge was still sharp after 550 hours of cutting. Rubber processing knives gave the same result. mechanical test have been so fantastic that cutting with steel may become a thing of the past.
