I am a very family oriented person. I enjoy going to Sunday morning services. I am employed as the Safety Manager for a comuter bus service. I enjoy traveling. I'm always picking up knives at yard sales and estate sales most I sell or trade off but I occasionally find rare keepers.

Collecting knives and traveling. Going to flea markets, yard sales and estate sales searching for knives.

SMKW comes through

I ordered a bunch of knives on the next to the last Friday night Knives Live show along with 2 ladder knife stands for my grandson.One large & one small. The following Friday I hadn't received my order which is odd. I called and they said the order hadn't shipped. They said the large stand was no longer available which delayed the shipment since they just found out. They said they'd ship it Monday (today). Summer is here and with it flea markets and yard sales. I go to these as often as I can along with esate sales. I have found some interesting and unique finds so I've decided to blog the sales and let everyone in on them. Leather help needed

I found a Imperial fixed blade tucked away in an old tackle box that I haven't used in several years. I found the knife while fishing and just stuck it in the box. This was before I contracted the knife collecting fever, of which there is no cure only treatment. The sheath is dirty and needs a good cleaning. What do you suggest for cleaning the sheath and what do you use for periodic treatment of leather. All my fixed blades are less than 2 years old and I'm thinking they should probably…
