What We Should Know About Toxic Wood

What follows is a compilation of some of the lists that is found illustrating the likely problems that may be encountered with different types of woods that are used in the knife making process.

In the reaction column will be listed “irritant, sensitizer, or cancer.” Irritants are just that, they will irritate the skin, eyes or nose as long as they are present, but the effects will diminish as soon as the source is…

Smoky Mountain Knife Works Rep weekend

It has been a phenomenal weekend.  The show brought together some knowledgeable, fun people and some great knife deals.  I will be adding a great deal to this blog as I review the weekend but I wanted to start with a Thank you.

To SMKW for putting this together, giving the knife folks a chance to meet the companies face to face.  Thank you to the SMKW staff.  These are probably the hardest working folks in the place and yet it is all done with a smile.  If their goal is to exceed…

I am so sorry that all the work you did in personalizing your page has gone. But think of the fun you will have customizing it now :) Seriously, I appreciate your bearing with us as we bring upgraded options to iKC.

For those that I have not…
