Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Had a wonderful time, put up some pics last night.  We had a few folks come by to talk with us yesterday but not too many.  It was a nice time, met some great folks.  I will write more today, have a laundry list of people to see and knives to open and close.

So far I have handed out over 150 business cards with iKC's web address.  Having a great time spreading the word  Wish you were all here with us!!

I can't wait to hear about some of the other experiences and have lots to still put on.  Got home about midnight last night, spent a few hours with my son and the grand babies on the way home.  Some vacations just fit in the "perfect" category!!

Well today seemed to be a day to spend time with old friends we only get to see at the shows and new friends we hope to see at many more.

I will talk more about most of those in the separate groups but I wanted to share a couple of folks I was able to spend time with that really impressed me.  Mr John Lloyd and Waysun Johnny Tsai.  Two different spectrums of knife making.  One very traditional and one combat, what they had in common was how they greeted, spoke to and shared time with their customers.  EXCELLENT in design, function, fit, finish and customer service.

iKC cards are everywhere at the show now, dont think I brought near enough.  OK, I didn't.  I should have printed up a few hundred more. At the blade show, each day seems to have its own atmosphere.  Friday brought lots of seasoned collectors.  Saturday had more of a family outing feel .  We have seen everything from newborns to great grand parents.  Many family groups which was good to see.  Teens seemed to come in pairs. Whether they were looking at tacticals, traditional, factory or custom they all seemed excited to be finding what they were looking for and discussing one VS the other. I wish I could have recorded some of the reasonings.  I heard one gentleman tell his lady that she should not buy a knife just based on the color and another gentleman told me he buys just buy the handle material.  Folks were out there buying the knives they liked and it did my heart good to know that no matter what the age group our hobby has something for everyone.  That made me give our card to everyone we saw having those discussions.  Come to iKC, see works of art, working knives and and speak with like minded people.  Donnie gets stopped in his iKc shirt and told.It says ask you about iKC, tell me more.

Dropped some wood off at woodlabs to be stabilized.  All in all a great day, plenty more fun to be had
