the T.Bose is one of the NKCA's knives that was done with himself and V. Mazzei...the handle material is Birdseye maple...truly a wonderful knife...I use it as a neck knife...

yes my Father's knife has skinned quite a few animals...quite a few wild game and domestic...my father worked and then on weekends he would help local farmers that he knew to slaughter their animals when required...this is how we were to able to hunt on their lands most of the time...give and take in a positive way.

The T.Bose knife has been used quite a bit already in its short existence from fish, grouse, rabbit and moose...it has held up well and kept a wonderful edge.

I, too, prefer the simplicity of these knives.

Those 3 knives are all about the business of getting the job done. No frills. Nothin' fancy. Simplicity. Therein lies their beauty. I love the wood handles on all 3 of these knives. Your dad's knife looks like it has seen many summers. And yet it still looks quite capable of tackling the toughest task and coming out on top. Beauties, all 3!
