20% is quite a nice deal.  It just doesn't fit my collecting style, as 95% of the knives I buy are older knives.  I buy a new knife probably only once every 2 years.

Regarding the sale, a 20% discount is more than a bargain and discount should never go lower than that.

Two thoughts I want to share and consider I am perhaps not a typical member as I have very limited areas of collecting: first, all items up for sale should be on one page so that when I go to "shop" I see them all, even if it means scrolling or additional pages; second, I did not buy anything because I did not see anything I wanted.

I am a collector first and a member of iknife second. If products were more about "I collect knives" as primary with tag at bottom for iknifecollector.com at bottom, they would be more appealing to me. I want others to know I collect knives and am less interested in advertising the web site.

Talk to me about my knife collecting and then I will add a recommendation for another collector to check out the site.

Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

The 20% off deal was great. I just wasn't attentive enough. Sorry.

Thanks Jan for your reply to my quick question - at least it's not just me. And, well, it did keep an ol' Pole busy!  :-)

Quick Question Jan - please help me understand why some threads have the latest posting on page 1 and work to the oldest on page 6, while others have the latest comments on page 6 and the oldest on page 1? Very confusing...and frustrating.

Is this just to keep Poles busy guessing all the time?  :-)

Thanks
