Hey Jan,

Here's a recipe for chess pie..I have several diff. ones but this one is good.

                                           Chess Pie

makes 6to 8 servings

2 eggs    1 cup sugar   1/2cup(1 stick) margarine  2 tble spoons all -purpose flour    2 tble spoons buttermilk    3 eggs, beaten  1 tsp vanilla extract

1 unbaked 9" pie shell

melt oleo in saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add  sugar, flour and buttermilk and mix well.

add eggs and vanilla and mix well.  Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 300  degrees 1 hr , or until set and golden brown.

serve warm.  For a chocolate flavored, I have sprinkled choc. chips on top of the mixture..You will find that they will go to the bottom of the misture during baking.    This is a really good pie!!!!
