The Inspiration for this knife came from the Trestle Pine Knives "Portage" as you can see an interesting (?) little design, I believe made by Queen ... But maybe "made to a price" as the photo's I have seen mostly show signs of lack of attention to detail in the Fit & Finish ... note the Pins in this Photo ...

So.... As you do ... I decided to make my own ...  this was the secondary

blade in an old plastic sided Imperial USA Barlow. I recycled the blade and the back spring ...

 Then added new brass liners, nickel silver bolsters & pins and Gidgee scales/covers ....

I think it turned out pretty damn good ....
