I hate to participate in another giveaway, where I might win, but I really would love to have this knife. Thank you Jan and Steve for being so generous. Good luck to all. If I win, I promise to do a giveaway myself. If I don't win, I plan to do a giveaway too. :)

LOL Jeremy!  We will be filming the drawing, if you win...you win!

You are too kind.  Good luck anyway. :)

I'm a member of COLONIAL Flat Iron hunt club in Virginia Jan. Would that count as a valid discussion topic in the Colonial group?  :-)

Doh! I tried to get in on the GAW for this one and didn't hear from Steve til 6mo later...lol. A second chance! I do like the look of these knives.

Allanm,

If you use a Colonial to dress your kill yes it would.  Otherwise I would post it in the arsenal group or the outdoor group

It amazes me how often I hear either "Colonial is still in business" or "they are still made in the USA"?

The answer to both is YES.  Colonial Knife Corp still has a line made in the USA and YES they are still in business.  As a matter of fact, there is still a Paolantonio in charge, as there has been since 1926 !  I even think they are the last knife company in Rhode Island ?

I was being silly Jan, but I'm sure you could tell!

I don't have any Colonial knives, but from the look of that one, would like to. I have until previously used a made in the US Buck Omni hunter. I also have a Gerber Freeman guide gut hook, but that I will have to hang my head and admit is likely not US made since Gerber seems to not list much any more, and I think most of theirs are no longer US made. I really do prefer locally made whenever I can

I don't think that I even know this company at all...but I have to say that I really like the look of that knife.  It's a nice size too.  I guess I'll have to get my act in gear and post a lot the next few days.
I'm usually more a lurker...but I'll try!

Posting away. Would love to win this and then donate it to the raffle of this event: http://iknifecollector.com/profiles/blogs/25th-annual-big-sur-jade-....

Good luck everyone!

Contest ends at midnight tonight Eastern Time!

Get to posting!
