The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Knives have been made at the factory of Queen Cutlery Company of Titusville Pennsylvania for over 100 years. It is arguably the oldest and last American Cutlery that truly continues to produce knives in the same way as they were produced there when the factory opened in 1902. The factory’s first tenant was the Schatt & Morgan Cutlery Company: Queen Cutlery Company displaced Schatt & Morgan there in 1933. Queen City Cutlery Company first began to produce knives in 1918 around the end of the First World War, incorporated in 1922, and shortened their name to “Queen Cutlery Company” in January of 1946. Purchased by Daniels Family Cutlery Corporation on September 18, 2012

Thanks Carl, I am really loving it
oooh, now that is a unique knife, and very cool looking.
You know, I try real hard not to drive toward any one dealer. I want you to visit all our sponsors ! Every once in a while something comes along that is only going to be at one dealership and it is so unique I just have to share it with you.
Moose Tear Drop, EZ Open, 1095 Spear Blade, 3.875" blade, Moose Antler Handle, 23 made, Keystone Shield
love that knife, big snake, even bigger knife love the pic,how did you get the laynard to match.just one of those shotswhen you just had to be there.
These Mountain men knives are great, big sturdy handle, big enough blade to tackle heavy work. The polished Buffalo horn with pearl keystone is one of my favorites, although I like something with a bit rougher handle for work use - like the ACSB. One of the funny things about knife companies is how they find reasons for special editions- the100 anniversary in 2002, relies on Schatt & Morgan moving to Titusville from Gowanda,NY. While the 80th anniversary (also in 2002) dates to the time when Queen incorporated. Lots of fun and nice knives.
All this talk made me dig out my buffalo horn mountain man. It has the MoP keystone shield and the 2002 blade etch on the reverse side but not the centennial etch on the obverse. Otherwise looks to be the same. Love that centennial etch, wish mine had it!
Derek,
Honestly, send an email to Queen. If they do have a box they will let you know. It is not unheard of. They have been in the same factory for ever and a day. Sometimes they have a few odds and ends someone may be looking for. The worst case scenario is they dont and we have to start searching LOL
Thanks Folks and Richard for the Linkto Dandy ... If the knife in the link sold for $200 US$ I got mine very cheaply $67 Aust That's about $47 US$
Wish I had the box ..........
Great looking knife, Derek. Alas, it is so nice, I doubt it will see anybody's pocket.
