On 6/8/16the knife world lost a legendary dealer and a very good man.  Join me in prayer for the family of Mr. Clarence Risner.  May the Lord bring them peace in this time of loss.

Thank you Tracey. He did get sassy near the end of the shows didn`t he? Haha. It`s been tough losing him but I`ve told everyone, every knife I open or sell, he`s right there. My cell is 937-903-6317 in case you ever need to get a hold of me.

Getting to my desk for the first time since returning from Blade, I was so shocked to read this news this morning.  Danny and I got to know Clarence and his family over the past two years at the Knife Days show in Wilmington, OH. Our tables were always right next to theirs and what a blessing that turned out to be.  He was so gracious, funny, and downright sassy by the time the weekend was over each time.:)  I will miss seeing Clarence each year forward, but do hope to remain in touch with Betty, Austin, and Pam.

I pray peace comes quickly for Clarence's family and friends.  May God continue to watch over each of them.

Praying for Bob Robinson and his family and Clarence Risner's family.

Praying for Bob and his family at this sad time of loss. Prayers for Austin and the rest of the Risner family as well.

Just playing catch-up; my prayers for Clarence and Bob's families.m

Since I posted news about the devastating Soberanes Fire in Big Sur earlier, I thought I would announce that the fire has finally been declared as "contained" today, with over 132,000 acres burned and over 70 homes destroyed. This fire started on July 22 and burned for 83 days, a testament to the severity of the drought we have been experiencing. The weather forecast calls for a "chance" of rain this week, if it does it will be the first we've had in nearly nine months. Even if it rains it doesn't mean the drought is over, but it will finally put an end to an epic fire season.

Prayers for rain seem to have been answered, now please pray that we don't have devastating floods and landslides.

It has been a rather tough year for the knife community and I am again here to tell you that we have lost another dealer, a man many of you have done business with.

I’m really sad to share the news that Bob Andrews from Old Hundred Collectibles passed away yesterday 10.18.16.   He had been battling cancer for several months and finally lost the fight.

If you would like to send his wife a card or memorial, the address is:

Bob Andrews Family
HC 67 Box 104
Hundred, WV 26575

Enjoy Heaven Bob, the Lord knows you will be missed here ♥

Praying for the Bob Andrews family.

That line just keeps gettin' shorter. My address book is nothin' but a bunch of black lines through the names of all my friends whose numbers have already been called...

I can't say that I knew Bob personally. But I did know of him and he was definitely a knife person. So that would automatically qualify him as a friend. Therefore I would like to express my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to his family and all who knew him. He will be missed greatly within the knife community.

Rest in eternal peace, my friend.

Praying for Bob's family.

DEAR FATHER IN HEAVEN PLEASE REACH OUT YOUR MERCIFUL HANDS AND BE WITH THOSE ANIMALS AND PEOPLE CAUGHT UP IN THIS FIRE PLEASE GIVE THOSE FIGHTING THIS FIRE THE STRENGTH AND ABILITY TO GET THIS FIRE PUT OUT QUICKLY IN YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST HEAVENLY AND MERCIFUL NAME AMEN

Godspeed
