Nice one Craig, love the handle, goes well with the lined bolsters!

Thanks Syd!

I still only have the one Walnut Rogers Jigged Bone Seahorse w/lined bolsters I gifted myself last birthday, but I like it so much I carry it every day in a belt sheath and handle it often to develop some "pocket wear" so to speak. It's a nice knife to show off, most folks have never seen such a classy frame with that big 'ol Wharmcliffe, so it's a good conversation starter. Haven't met anyone locally who had ever heard of or seen one before, most of them don't even know what the word "whittler" really means either. The manager of the locally-owned Ace Hardware, (a Case dealer), told me he might order one for himself but doubted if he would ever stock them for sale locally due to their price point. The most expensive model they carry is the Case Trapper for $49.99 and he said they only sell one or two of those a year, so I might possibly have the only Seahorse in the county.

Keep posting those beautiful Seahorse pictures Craig, love 'em!

My favorite thread!  That prime vintage stag is a sweet one for sure Craig.

Simply amazing, Craig.
Beautiful, Craig

Sounds like you're "fondling" your Seahorse, Syd. Not too uncommon for those that really appreciate the frame.

Growing up, the only knives that I was exposed to were Stockmans, Barlows and Bucks. (Back then, any large frame lockback was referred to as a "Buck Knife" regardless of the manufacturer.)

Spread the word, Syd. Enlighten the county.

Thanks Dennis, JJ and Billy!

I feel the Seahorse is a very sexy pattern. Cass (my wife) sure loves it too!

New Pony...............

Smooth Black

Very nice!   And ... perfect for a black tie event!!!

I wonder what that type blade is used for...perhaps whittling a straight Line?
