Whenever I'm deciding which of my EDC blades to take with me for the day I always have a hard time choosing. I always end up carrying more than one, Five to be exact. Does anyone else have a hard time deciding which knife to carry so you end up taking more than one? If so which two do you have the most trouble with deciding on?

I usually carry a few, though there for different tasks, (i got to many weird looks cutting fried chicken with a tactical folder...
I always have at least three knives with me. I carry a Leatherman Charge, a Kersaw Chive, a little Damascus fixed blade I made myself along with my Surefire E1.
I usually carry a Benchmade CQC 7 on right side and a Benchmade AFO on the left side. I just bought a Griptilian and will probably be carrying that for a while on right side. I do believe that one is none. The more the better.
I just rotated in a Wenger Std. Issue SAK, and a RAT 1 folder....Switch out the SAK with a Leatherman Multitool as needed. I like to rotate EDC's occasionally just to change pace.
i totally have this problem, usually end up with 3-4 knives on me...
its at the point now where my friends will often ask how many knives i have when they see me.
and ppl who find out i carry knives with me all the time always have the same questions... is that legal??? what do you do with them??? Why so many???
Hmmm, well I always have at least one on me, my Case Pocket Worn Harvest Orange Stockman. Just got a belt sheath for it, which is pretty cool. Lately I've also been tossing a Case Sodbuster in my pocket. And then, when I am carrying my backpack (which is pretty much most of the time), I have a Leatherman Kick in there.
I ussualy end up with a Leatherman Charge TTi and a Benchmade 523, and a Surefire Inova LED flashlight. Now and then if im going to places im uneasy about I may strap on a CRKT sting.
i was getting funny looks from the guys at work the other day, haha. they just dont get why someone needs so many blades on them (well thats just thier opinion, i thought i was carrying light)

in a normal day at work i usually have a sog flash 2 in my right pocket, kershaw leek in my back right pocket, gerber flick multitool on my right hip, a kershaw scallion in left pocket (not usually on me but it was getting shown off to another knife guy at work), and a Victoronox classic on the keychain.

when im not at work i will usually carry a ka-bar tdi in the car, sog powerlock on right hip, glock 17 full of hornady critical defence on the left hip, kershaw blur tanto right pocket and kershaw leek left pocket. and sometimes if im going light i will have my ruger lcp on me.
yes and i thought i was the only one who does this. normally I will carry one tatical folder EX: cold steel scimitar, kershaw blur - 4 inches, then a SAK(swiss army knife), a smaller blade EX SOG blink, Buck gentelman, Kershaw LFK. and most of the time I also carry my cold steel Urban pal or Ka-Bar TDI LDK on my weak side. a surlight stylus pro and if im working on a car I also have my SoG powerlock or Gerber 400 series multitool.
Have recently found myself carrying 3...yes, 3 EDC blades on a regular basis...I like the combination of defensive blade, workhorse, and mini-tool...It covers all my EDC needs....I also carry a Maratac 9290 (iTP C6), for illumination...Keychains always have a light, Swiss key, mini-widgy bar, and kubaton...Occasionally change-out everything to avoid monotony...lol...Like J.T. says..."OPTIONS"
I usually EDC two knives. I always (!) have my Zero Tolerance 0200 as a defensive knife. For utility tasks, I prefer a shorter blade. This is because I just find it more practical and some people can get uncomfortable when the 0200 snaps open. Here in California, when people see a knife, they think "O.J. Simpson!" LOL
Real Quick speakin of EDC Knifecenter.com has a deal going on on a CRKT M16 with tanto and seratted edges for 18 bucks, the catch is the sale is ending very very soon.
