Thanks all, I'm having issues with sending photo of knife in question. I'm not the most proficient on a computer but will iron out soon.

Hello,
First, excuse my English, like many frogs, I'm talking it very bad.
I live in a country where there are still many knives, especially at least a traditional knife by region. And I have the chance of living at 20 miles from Thiers, famous city of cutlery.
I am currently looking for documents with photos, drawings of the markings, various guides, that could help me to date precisely the Swiss knives brand Wenger, but as the Wenger company archives burned in an accident in 1985, there is no catalog or other documents prior to 1991.
Good luck,
Jean-Claude

Thanks Sue, ......you've inadvertantly revealed another of my hobbies. I've been an antique collector of everything, including old Neon signs and any old advertising memorabilia. Neon is fascinating. Mike
