Even though they are banned here people still find a way to stab each other, kitchen knives mostly I guess.

I feel that to make things clear that the proposed legislation to ban online knife sales has not yet been passed in parliament. So for the moment, we are still okay to buy knives or razors online. The official wording of the proposed bill is, something like, "bladed implements" so that might catch a whole bunch of stuff like chisels and gardening tools etc. I should think that apart from the usual slowness of government that the Brexit shambles is holding things up. Then there was the talk of just banning online sales to under eighteens and tying that in with a desire to stop young people from accessing pornography. The idea seemed to be that you would go to a post office with your birth certificate to buy a number proving your age and then use that number to access pornography sites or buy online knives or, bladed implements. That would work well I think !!!!!!!!!

Any politician who is stupid enough to think that computer literate youngsters couldn't access anything they want to online is too stupid to do the job.
Jan,

I have no doubt about that fact Dale my friend.

At the moment I have more than sufficient knives for my uses. I tend to only carry a knife at home and in my shed for whittling, mostly Fallkniven or EnZo which I believe are now called Brisa.

I am afraid my heart has been carried away by straight razors and the collection of sharpening stones and apart from a little whittling I don't bother too much with my small knife collection.
