Hey Brad...after reading through this thread, it appears that you're most expensive commodity is Time, followed by a close second of everything else. Thought I would refresh this thread with the question....is the dream still alive?

I'm not sure if this conversation continued on in another group or not - if so, please direct. This one reads like a really great adventure story, but with the final pages missing.

Update:

4/7/2012

I am pulling out of trying to get these patterns CNC'd. My associate is bombarded with other projects he has to pay his bills.

So I am thinking about bandsaw cutting these out of the CPM-154 I received from Brent. Hope to get the rough cut done on Saturday.

He knows it is a relatively easy way to supplement his income and offerings to his AR clientele.

I pressured him into committing to having the prototype done and in my hands by January 18th. After that is figuring out how to nest the material for maximum output, then off to Grind and heat treat. We have figured on having the handle scales done outside, G10 dust is unpleasant to be around.

Still mulling over the sheath. Kydex? Nylon? Kydex/Nylon? Leather?
