Is there a knife you own that was given to you by a parent, grandparent or holds sentimental value? Will you share a little about the story and the knife with us?
One of the knives my father gave me when I joined the usmc was actually 2 blades. A very well preserved German bayonet with the SS eagle badge on the metal frog and the Kabar his Uncle used to dispatch the SS trooper in Europe. The bayonet was liberated for future use. A second find was a matched set of Kukris I bought in a British army/Navy store while Station in the UK during the mid 80's. They were rusted and the blade dingd up so I sent them home and my Dad took them to the research company he worked at. He took them to the machine shop foreman and asked if he would clean them up. A few months later he advised that the rust wasn't rust but dried blood
