Welcome, Mark!  There are other knifemakers here, not to mention a bunch of people with a TON of knowledge.  And definitely check out the groups -- a lot of great content over there (& other places too, but that's a great place to start).  I'm a recovering aspiring knifemaker (never quite made a knife, but still have some of the equipment, so maybe one of these years).  All that to say I wish you well with it & keep us posted.  Great to have you here!
