Creig, Heard back from Tom on the Camillus MK2 markings.

The Mark 2 knives were first made by Camillus in 1943 and were stamped on the blade. Then the stampings were moved to the guard in late 1943 or early 1944. When the Mark 2 knife resumed production in 1962, the stampings were moved back to the blade. All Mark 2 knives made in 1962 through 2007 were stamped on the blade.
