I pulled the lower one out of a box of rusty old tools .. about 35 miles SW of Gladstone, MI ..

.. always had suspicions it was a Marble's .. last yr Mom gave me her Dad’s #1 & I verified the heads were the same ..

Yesterday, was going to do a quick touch up out in the yard w/ a file .. successfully removed some ridge tips on one side of said file .. I was impressed .. what kind of steel did Webster use in these ??
