A spoon I made last week , just for fun . Don't know what the wood is I had the wood in the shed for a long time .

I agree, put it in the carving section in JJ's Diner!!  I love seeing these and would like to see more

Thanks for the kind remarks guys , Dead I use a Flexcut Carving Jack . I don't specially recommend them but I bought one years ago so I have gone back to using it . I wouldn't buy another if I lost it though , I find it kind of fiddly to use .

Beautiful work John. My neighbor up the road has been making them for 5-6 years. he also does wood turned bowls.

Agreed, John -- we SHOULD have a spoon carving section!  What do you say, Jan?  :)  As Jeremy said, it seems to be in the air!  What knife did you use?
