Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Since I have contracted EDC-OCD, I have bought a knife weekly. This blog should help me keep track of the incoming items starting 5/21/2013.

5/21/2013  -  Today it is a Uncle Henry / Schrade+ / U.S.A. 144

This is a beauty, lightly used and well cared for. Polished the brass up a little.

Today's arrival is a 2009 Buck 110 purchase inspired by Ron Coopers lovely purchase earlier this month. I had been watching the knife he bought on eBay and decided to forego bidding because I had allotted my money to the 144UH in the above pictures. But seeing the 110 so soon afterwards, here, on this site, was more then I could bear. So I perused  eBay for another and this one was the best of the lot.

Schrade U.S.A. 153UH - Near Mint condition. Even the stone hasn't been used. Very nice.

Corneta Wotan - from Cesar in Brazil. This is a beast of a knife, weighing in at 14.2 oz without the sheath, 6" blade and 11" over all. The Hollow ground 1/4" thick 52100 Ball Bearing steel blade(56-58 HRC) has a drop forged integral double guard that is very well formed and smoothly radiused into the ricasso. The Kraton handle is as non-slip as you can get. The ballistic nylon sheath is ambidextrous due to the hilt strap is on a pivoting rivet. I can see why the Brazilian Special Forces commissioned this design, It is fantastic. This knife is now in my Ready bag.

6/10/2013  -  ZT 0560 Trade through BF.

With a 3-1/2" blade, it is perfect for any rugged outdoor job. But, I prefer my Schrade "Little Finger" for my needs. 2" blade but with a heft to it that feels good.

Great looking small fixed blade, Brad. I find that the fixed blades I use the most are the small ones. I have been planning on a Post about small fixed blades. I love Schrade knives, thats a fine one you have.

There is the Old Timer 14ot version as a "buy it now", mint condition. But...$83 shipped. Really think that is too high.

That is some sweet stag on a great knife!  From the look of it...very lightly used

A very nice addition Brad and just the right size for EDC if you want a fixed blade.
