According to my handy dandy GPS, we're 164 miles from "City center".
I've gotten a lot of comments on the H&R, over the years. Most don't even notice the blades, all they see are the tips and the absence of bolsters. Hate to admit it, this was a CC purchase.
Lots of folks have started with RR and even the SW. From what I've seen though is the RR's far outshine the FSW knives. What you said about the availability of patterns in RR is true. SMKW finds an old pattern and has them made up for RR. My latest, the "Boxcar" whittler is one. They said that the pattern had only been made for some club knife, in the past. It's not really a user sized whittler, unless you want to whittle a 2x4, but its a nice knife and razor sharp.
I had the chance to buy the stag set, all at once, at a good price. I had one of the first generation stag whittlers and the stag on the second series is much better.
I saw that you had a couple of Bokkers in the pics also. I got several of the RR whittlers and a couple of the SW's too. If you like the Seahorse whittlers, you might have to wait to see much of them again. CASE has put them in the vault.
Billy, I've looked at your growing collection in ones and twos as added. It is really nice to see the larger grouping. Your Remington collection is very cool. I especially appreciate the Rem. Damascus and of course the Queen Honey Amber Stag Bones. All the best in the New Year, Bill (PS. My neck problems continue. A round of tests last week. Back to the surgeon this week.)

Hey Billy,
Thanks for stopping by.
(Oklahoma should have a fair amount.)

Welcome to the Great Eastern Cutlery Group, we're glad you joined us.
Yeah,
SMKW had the Teak Woods in one of the last couple of catalogs. Got to shop around for them now.
