Jakob Herder Sod Buster (maybe?)

I recently bought a batch of knives for parts or repair, and this one had more rust on it than barnacles on the Queen Mary. But in removing the rust, I discovered the blade stamp for "Jakob Herder echt Stohl." Even more fun is the fact that this company exists nowhere in Google Land. All I have found to date is Friedrich Herder, a cutler that started in the late 1600s. If you or anyone has a clue to offer about the origins of this knife I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. See More
