Ooooh .... that does sound like it would be a winner J.J.!

I'm not one for all the fancy colors, Dennis, but I have a couple of the Orange Pocket Worn knives that have an amazing feel to them.  Would it be too much trouble for CASE to make a handle material that actually looks like it came from an old barn.

It wouldn't look right on ALL patterns, but Whittlers, Stockmans and Barlow's would look great.

New one arrived yesterday ... 2013 antique brown sawcut.

Nice addition Dennis!

Thanks Craig .... really liked yours.  Two of these popped up in the bay recently ... one for auction, of for sale.  Liked the look of both.  But, am getting ready for a surgery early next month and my time is too limited right now to mess with auction timing.  So, submitted a best offer on the other one and ended up getting it for what they cost back in 2013.  Still waiting for Case to release those fence rows and a few others that I am still searching for (really hard ones to find .... like the grey bone/red shield you have!!).  However, the collection is growing thanks to your introduction to this wonderful pattern!!!  Here's where I stand right now:

Nice corral of Ponies!

I try to be all the enabler I can be. LOL!

I usually buy myself something extravagant on my birthday ... something I would not otherwise buy ... because, well, there comes a point in life where you just don't know exactly how many birthdays you have left!!!!  This year, it was this seahorse.  Looking at the tang stamps, it started out in life as a 2004 model covered with some type of jigged bone (or synthetic).  It was recently customized by Joshua Kidd (Wild Horse Knives) with black onyx, Mammoth ivory, and Mammoth tooth covers and decorative bolsters, blade springs and blade spines.  Most definitely overpriced for "a 2004 Seahorse" ... however, considering the man hours, materials, and craftsmanship .... most definitely worth it in its current state (at least to me!).  While probably not everyone's cup of tea, it certainly put a smile on my face.

I'm not sure any of my words could due that beauty justice. Amazing. Happy Birthday too!

All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful knife.

Sounds like a real  beauty.  You may need to repost the pic, Dennis.  I definitely want to see it once NING gets the photo issues ironed out.

I had an opportunity to get one, done in  some Arizona rainbow petrified wood, years ago.  It was way out of my price range.

Thanks guys.  I love it. It is certainly a (sea)horse of a different color!!!  JJ .. are you saying you can't see the pic here?  It posted just fine.  Just can't upload pics to the media albums.  I mentioned that to Jan this morning, figuring ning was having problems again.  Regardless, once the ning upload problems get sorted out again, will post more pics in the media albums.  The mammoth tooth on this one is perfectly matched on each side.

That looks great Dennis! Classy. A very fine Birthday gift! Happy Birthday!
