I did a little bartering and received this anvil as payment for some work I did recently. I wonder what I should make....

DLKG - They did deliver it to me and it took 4 of us to safely unload it it. It has 202 stamped on the side, so I believe that to be the original weight of the anvil. It has since had a plate welded on top and is on a cast steel/iron base. I would guess that it weighs at least 300 lbs. I am debating on whether or not to remove the welded plate. It has a crack in it, so I am leaning towards removing it. I hope I can find someone to do some repair welding to the anvil, that knows the proper way. I am looking forward to using it in the near future.

Woah!  I hope they delivered it to you as part of the deal...  How much does it weigh, anyway?  That's an incredible anvil -- have fun!

I won’t enter it in any beauty contests, but it should get me started.
