This is probably my favourite knife. Once I finally got it sharpened it took a lasers edge. I had it Engraved by Tom Hudson. The engraving coincidentally also keeps scratches from showing on the bolsters.

Everything about this knife is right. The colour, the feel, the halfstop, the steel.

So here are some pictures:

No fans of the Gunstock?

Wow Alexander, that's a pretty knife! And if it's like my new #69, it's first rate in quality.

"No fans of the Gunstock?" - I like Gunstocks. But then again, I like most everything! LOL!

Oh I am definitely a gunstock fan.  It is an under rated pattern in my eyes.  Not very many companies make this old pattern.  Your is very nice.  Is it amber stag?  You did well with the engraving, tastefully done

Very nice and some fancy bolsters too!

Hey Jan, it's Amber Bone. But it sure does look like stag doesn't it? Since I recently got a lightbox for taking pictures with I'll see if I can get some indoor pictures of it.

Yeah, I've always had a few Gunstocks in my collection over the years.

I love Queen's Honey Amber Stag Bone, and I agree it looks pretty much like stag.....as good if not better.....like my #69 Jack - http://www.iknifecollector.com/group/queen-cutlery-company-hosted-b...

Yeah I saw that one. Lovely piece of bone on that one too.

Your pictures are making me want to get one of their Gunstocks again. You enabler you! LOL!

And...uhm.....show us some pictures when it gets to your house

LOL!

I'm still learning how to take decent pictures. But I took one tonight that I think came out pretty well:

Wow Alexander, that's great!  My main problem indoors is my lighting.  What is your light setup?
