BOX FULL OF KNIVES

A place for our smaller groups to call home with their fellow collectors

A-Z index for the Box of Knives

Marbles Brand

Here is a place where you can show off your Marbles Knives. I have just a few and I don't see any of the bone handle material on any other brands. I have seen some new handles on the Marbles coming out since they filed Bankruptcy and SMKW  purchased the rights to them. I especially like the USA made Marbles from Gladstone, MI which are rare and hard to find. If you like Marbles knives, here is a place to show them off. Here is a green stag bone sunfish.

Original Marble's have always been a favorite of mine because of their rareness/collectable status. Also, I grew up in close proximity to where they were made. Managed a plant tour while under the CRL ownership. Used to come across a few original Marble's during camping trips in the UP. But ... anything in decent shape was .. expensive. I've managed a Woodcraft, a 4.25 safety folding hunter, & this Safety Pocket Axe. The Woodcraft & Safety Folder are far from mint ... but highly valued .. the chase was fun.

.. missing the swing gaurd, a poor replacement on the pivot pin, & badly pitted blade ..

Obviously not made in Michigan but I finally got the last of the five ion toothpicks SMKW released in the Marbles brand.  It's the fluted bone  one
