I have a Boker Cinch Trapperliner Knife and would like to attach a lanyard to it. The knife is not drilled to except a lanyard. Does anyone have a suggestion on a way to do that?
Rex, what steel is it? What kind of handle material? Bare end or bolster? With the correct drill bit and a drillpress I am sure it could be done . It may be worth the $ to have an experienced person do it and sleeve it to keep the knife in good shape

It is a Boker Cinch Trapperliner Knife with Stag handle. It has a SS blade. It has bolsters on both ends, but unsure of the material.
Thanks for your help

I agree with Jan. I'd have it done by a experianced knife builder.
There are several people here that also re-work knives that may be able to direct you in the right direction.
Not sure where the end pin is, but I'd avoid it if possible and have the lanyard hole offset, unless it can be totally replaced with a strong ferrule.
