I spent a good 4 hours Friday at the show, looking at many knives, and talking with some familiar faces.  Great show, I'm glad I went.  I picked up a few nice knives too, which I'll show once I get some good photos.  Here is a pic of the room the show was at.

  • Jan Carter

  • Carl Bradshaw

Hey Courtney, got any tidbits to tease us with for what/when the next Tuna pattern will be coming out?

  • Dennis

Is there a list of all the Tuna knives made? Thanks
  • Carl Bradshaw

I've spent quite a bit of time cataloging all the TV knives made.  The Daniels website is pretty complete showing the knives that they have made. There are only a few that are not shown.  If you want, send me an email and I can send you the complete list from every year.

  • Dennis

    Thanks Carl
  • Jan Carter

Carl, can we add to this discussion you started with a completed list?

    Tuna Valley Production List

  • Carl Bradshaw

Sure, I'll post it there.  There are a few missing bits of info, maybe some folks here can help fill it in.

  • Carl Bradshaw

Hey Jamie, I see the new Tuna Knife released is a Carpenter Whittler pattern, available at a few dealers already. Do you know if they will be out in buffalo horn also?  So far I only see stag ones listed.

  • Jamie Rank

    Hi Carl,

Yes they are available in Buffalo Horn. There was 25 produced in the Buffalo Horn Handles for the new Carpenter Whittler. I am working on getting mine listed on my website now, I am a little behind! LOL It has been a very busy summer so far.

I will try to post a few pictures on here shortly.

    Thanks, Jamie

  • Carl Bradshaw

I saw the knives you added to your site Jamie, they all looked really good. I had a hard time deciding which one I liked best, but finally got one picked out and ordered.

I am going to the Queen knife show this weekend, I'm sure I'll get to eyeball some of these new Tuna Valley's up close there, and may end up with another one.  :)

  • Carl Bradshaw

My whittler came in today. It looks great and is flawless. Thanks Jamie!

  • Carl Bradshaw

I had a herd of buffalo wander into my garage today. Luckily I got a picture of it.

  • Clint Thompson

Carl this is a good one. A herd of good looking buffalo. LOL!

  • Jan Carter

LOL, looks like a gaggle of nuts came through first and the herd of buffalo trampled them!  Buffalo's seem to be a good thing to have around!

  • Carl Bradshaw

I had a great time today at the Queen knife show in Titusville, and Ryan gave me a nice deal on a few new Tuna Valley's. I'll get some pics of them soon and post them.

I had a great time at the show in Titusville Pa last week and it was a Pleasure to meet Courtney there and see some of the Tuna valley line of knives, Great work on the new models looking forward to adding them to my sale line.

  • Carl Bradshaw

The teardrops in ivory were recently released. Check them out, very cool looking. I ordered a dandy from Jamie and took a picture of it today. It is in my Tuna's in the Woods thread above.

  • Carl Bradshaw

Courtney/Ryan/Jamie, can you say if there will be any more new TV knife releases in 2016?  Any new patterns, or an ivory whittler, etc.?  I'm eager to see what's in the works!

  • Carl Bradshaw

Does anyone know if anything new is happening with Tuna Valley? What's in store for the rest of 2016, and early 2017?

  • Jamie Rank

    Hi Carl
Sorry for the late return messages but I have been having trouble with my log in!
I just received a shipment of carpenter whittlers in mammoth
    Ivory. They look very good!
I am getting them posted on my website this evening. Ryan said he had something else in the works but I am not sure for 2016 or early 2017, I will find out for you.
    Thank you
    Jamie

  • Carl Bradshaw

Those ivory whittlers looked really really nice Jamie.  And that's cool to get an idea of what is in the works. I'm not a huge fan of stockmans in general, as there are so many other cool patterns out there.  But I'm sure the Daniels will make them look really cool.  Thanks for the "classified" info!

  • Jan Carter

Excellent info Jamie!  Thank you..woohooo a stockman!
