This group is for anyone with interest in Buck Knives. If you own, collect, carry, or use a Buck knife, then this is the group for you. Please join us!
If you own any Buck Knives, let's see 'em. Post your pics here. Have any stories of how using a Buck saved the day (or a life), tell your story here. Have you ever been to the Buck Knives factory (CA or Idaho), tells us about your visit and the factory tour.
I've had a Buck 110 since in college in the sixties. I like the simplicity, the strength and the fact it takes a pretty good edge and keeps it for a while.
Hi Sunil, thank you for inviting me in this group. Sorry to say this that I don't have a buck knife yet but always wanted one. Can you let me see what yours are like.
Hi if anyone would like to see a Buck 117 one of the first folding knives ever made by Buck in 1946 to 1948... I have one in my photo albums just go to the album for my buck knife there will be a story about it also. Thanks .Tom George
Hi Buck Fans, I'm glad to have found you all.. I've got several Bucks in the collection and one in the pocket. Looking forward to being a contributor here.
I have several Buck Knives. My first Buck was and still is a 309 pattern, my second a 110. Both of these knives were purchased while I served in the Navy. The 309 was a replacement for my tree brand single blade trapper, which had been lost; I was aboard the Yorktown off North Korea during the Pueblo incident at the time. The 110 was purchased while aboard the Enterprise, on station near Viet Nam, in 1971.
The 309 has been retired from carry, but remains in my collection (needs an escutcheon).
This 117 Buck Knife is the first folding knife ever made by Hoyt and AL Buck back in 1946 to 1948 while working out of a small shop at his home ...More info on my page Thanks Tom
