"THE CANADIAN EMBASSY" hosted by Ron Dumeah

This group is for anyone with common interest of manufacture, discussion or acquiring knives for collection.

Canadian Connection

I thought a thread on knives with a Canadian connection would be of interest. For example,  this may include souvenir knives, advertising knives and knives with a cultural or historical connection to Canada.

This is nice little Boker Canadian Souvenir knife. The Sterling scales are marked REG 1907 and the 9 Provincial shields appear on one side. Some of them have changed since the knife was made and, of course, it would be several years before New Foundland and Labrador joined the Confederation.

Thanks Johnny. That's the Provincial Shield for Manitoba. The shields go from left to right (top photo) based on time of joining the Confederation. The four founding provinces on the left and Saskatchewan and Alberta just made it (1905).
