Great Eastern Cutlery hosted by Ken Mundhenk

Collectors of Great Eastern, Northfield and Tidioute Knives

A book on GREAT EASTERN CUTLERY is in the works,

I am honored to say that Great Eastern Cutlery has decided to allow me the opportunity to write a book about the history of the Northfield Knife Company, the Tidioute Cutlery Company (1909-1916) and the Great Eastern Cutlery Company. This new book will feature some great old photo's, and a comprehensive listing of GEC's products and production. GEC has taken the knife world by storm and I am thrilled to be working with Ryan Daniels, Ken Daniels, and Bill Howard to produce this historical reference book for those that love both old and new knives.

So, if you have anything of any materials on the above mentioned items that you think may be of interest, please contact me and we maybe can include them as well. This is VERY exciting and should be a wonderful addition to your knife library. Please pass the word. I can see that my winter will be spent on intensive research. I can't wait to get started.

Picked up 2 interesting peices at the show, a Tidioute razor and a tidioute 2 blade 6229. They are both between the years 1909 and 1916. Will get those pictures ready also.
