I have owned a few knives for years. I really would not be called a collector by most peoples standards. I have owned more Old Timer knives than any other brand. My faithful little pocket knife is an Old Timer - three blade (108OT). I carry it everywhere. I raise a garden every year and I have had it in the rain, mud, sweat, even lost in the dirt for a time. It has a few pits in the blades but will still sharpen to a near perfect cutting edge. I have owned several Old Timer's. Only once have I ever had a problem. One had the main blade get a little loose and I sent it back and received a new one, no questions asked. I'm here to learn. Already seen a couple of terms that I'm not familiar with.
