This is very exciting news. I am so happy to see the Daniels family staying involved in the knife community. I wish Ryan and Courtney the best and will certainly support them in anyway I can.

I'm sure they will be making posts here occasionally. And they've asked me to help admin this group for them as well. Kind of a dream job, go from being a fan and collector of Tuna Valley to being part of the team now. :)

I like the 154CM also. But the raindrop Damascus sure is eye catching.

For anyone looking, I see there are just a handful still available at a few dealers.

Here is a neat one to show off.  A handle material that was never used on Tuna knives, on a pattern that was never made for Tuna knives.  2017 1 of 1 special, Boy's Jack Knife in Lightning Wood. Pretty unique!

Looks like a very special knife.. The lightning wood is scary when you think about the voltage right beside your hands in making it - I have abandoned plans to use this process. I like the boys knife especially with a bail and chain - I lost too many of this boy's knives... 

I have a couple in the lightning wood and it is just a stunning reminder that even when she is heavy handed Mother Nature can create beauty

It is one of the most interesting handle materials to come out in the last 30 years I think.
