I've got a couple of the Jim Burke designs made by Boker Plus (the Hitman & the Mini Resurrection), & these knives made him one of my favorite designers (along with Les George and, well, I can't really think of another at the moment -- too distracted with other aspects of my life, not the least of which is this sweltering HEAT!)...
Man 'o man 'o man 'o man 'o man 'o man! I'm in Germany and it's hotter than a "insert favorite comment here"...damn it's hot. It's late at night here AND RAINING but still so hot that's the only condition that I will ride outside in right now. I'm a Gynger so I'm not big on heat and I don't tolerate it well. It's like the sun woke up this morning, thought of me and chose violence! It's like the roads here in Germany were freshly paved and sent from hell. I want to punch global warming in the nutsack.
I love Jim's work as well. I have a few more of his collabs with Böker. My main collecting focus is actually on the Böker Jahremessers. I have MOST but there are still @ 10-15 I'm chasing. If you ever come across any, I would be very thankful if you let me know AND if it's not one I have and I'm able to pick it up I'll give you a finders fee... stay cool, anyway you can.
