How long have you collected knives?
6- 10 years
Favorite Kind of Knives
I like tactical knives. I like knives that are built tough, have a fierce appearance, and will get the job done. I don't have a large collection yet, but it will be getting progressively bigger. I have faith in Spyderco to always send me good knives, after my last order with them.
Some companies I like:
*Spyderco
*Cold Steel
*Benchmade
*Kershaw
*SOG
*Victorinox
*KaBar
I am ant. I'm mainly on YouTube on my account uploading videos of all sorts of things.
Interests
I like:
~Knives
~Guns
~Weaponry
~The Military
~ Survival Techniques
~Bushcraft Projects
~Camping
~Hunting & Fishing & Gathering
~Fireworks, BIG and small
~Parkour
~Teaching people some of my own skills
Other Hobbies
I free-run, which is very similar to Parkour. I also like photography even though my camera kinda sucks. I like bike riding across my part of the country.
I usually put a thin coat of clear finish to protect them, though iof you dont, they will develop a patina, from handeling much quicker.
Here's another..
Usually, you'll remove it. If you're making a basket or a monkey the seed needs to come out. DO NOT TRY TO EAT IT. Supposidly it contains a form of cyanide.
You have to remove the seed while you're carving the whole thing. Say, when working a basket you'll carve the handle, when you've broken through the "Pit" you can remove the seed. Then shape the handle. I use scrapers, that are similar to dental picks, for this.
If you've halved a pit, (or it's split when you get it), You can make pins and things out of each half.

Roughing them out takes about 3-4 hours, with another couple, to finish it in total. Baskets, take about an hour.
