hey rich i picked that up at a little sporting goods store in Bedford, PA...it's alitlle city you've never heard of...the handle is actually some kind of hardwood that is jigged..i have not had a chance to use it yet but i plan to use it on my first deer this coming fall...i'll post some pictures for you...they really aren't to expensive or to hard to get if your looking into getting one.---MDS
Hello, that fish in the pic is a 12lb CARP. I love to catch them cause they sure do put up a great fight. I know more about fishing than I do about knives. I have been fishing most of my life and only getting into the knife circle for just a little over a yr now. I am still very much learning.
hey great deal on the knife!! i have been to Smokey Mountain Knife Works! my parents live in Knoxville, Tn. why do you ask? (i saw you ask another member on their comment)
have you been there?
hey michael i have only sold a couple knives so far. they vary in price due to the style and handle material. i sold a fillet knife for 15 and a skinner for 20. check out my page to see my latest pics i just posted.
what is your price range... maybe we can work something out!
mike ,
i like the old slip joint folders to. so much i make them. cheek out my web site. maybe later on you will want to make one for your self. if you are ever close to indy please stop by and see my shop, handle some knives and we will tell a few lies. jeff
Hi Michael,
Thanks. I'm collecting the knives for my 11 yr. old grandson. We really enjoy collecting together. It's great to see that you are involved as a young guy. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. It's nice to have you as a friend.

the pumpkin pics was Scott's idea. its just for the holiday... i dont know where they got the pic from though. if you really want to know just email Scott King.... he knows all!
Michael, thanks for friending me... I have an 8 year old who collects with me. He's got about 40 boy scout knives now and growing. I hope he keeps it up with your style.
BTW Michael, carry knife a UNXLD three spring/ three blade stag whitler as you just indicated you picked up... It's sweet for a beefy performing knife. Light in the pocket but biult for real work not just looking at. Mine is not serialised... that's why I chose to allow that type of investment to become a carryblade. I use to use $100 pens and loose them like they were Bic Pens, So I told myself I could carry a $100 ++ great knife and not be guilty for it.
hanks for the warm welcome. I'm gonna look around a bit. If I don't comment it's prolly because I'm lost (BOG)
BTW Mike, I collect Queen and Schatts and Westerns for the most part.
You bet. He's here every two weeks right now but after seeing your knives and hearing the story about the Great Eastern people he's excited! You have inspired him because before you he did not think any other kids your age got into knives like we do!
I'll send to a picture of his favorite Scout patern he just got.
hey Michael i got my internet fixed finally! how is everything with you?
all is good here, just working on some more knives!
thanks,
Captain, CJS knives
wow micheal that sounds great! (i mean the knife you are sending out, not the broken toe) i am sorry to hear about your toe. is this knife a folding knife, or a fixed blade? my buddy just gave me a fillet knife he wants a nwe handle on, i like doing that kinda stuff! how much is he charging you? would like to see some before and afet pics when you get it back.
God Bless,

walking sticks huh? thats cool! i started making carving knives! do you have any? what kind of blade do you use to carve them? i would like to see some pics if you have any. what made you want to get into carving? i made my dad a cane when i was in high school. i carved a wizards face on it. i could also help you with your logo design. i am going to school for drafting and design and i have some design programs on my computer. i did mine on Adobe Illustrator. let me know what ideas you have.
God Bless,
Captain
Michael, Thanks for the welcome. Your page and photos are excellent. I would really be iterested in seeing some pics of your walking sticks. I have purchased three walking sticks at the Renasansse Festival in Bonne Springs over the years. I will check back often. - Larry
The ghetto looking one? It is a little paring knife I made out of an old skill saw blade. Came out ok but due to me sucking at tempering I can't get an edge on it. I wan't to make another one sometime this Spring after I get my room set up to be a workshop and maybe a cheapo belt sander.
