I'm a multi-tasking father of 4, husband of one, real estate auctioneer and one who enjoys our hobby & nice knife folks.
Interests
Knife shows; KNIFE AUCTIONS; observing social changes brought on by technology and specifically its impact on our daily lives....and of course, all things Mac.
Hey Scott, the new photo is great, now I can see better what you look like. I'll get one put up this weekend.
I was actually rooting for AL just because I typically root for the underdog in games that really don't mean as much to me. Does your daughter call you a turncoat for rooting for FL... hahaha.
Now rooting for TX though and this is a fantastic defensive game. Finally though TX has a bit of a lead. Hopefully they can hold out. Though it would be interesting to see what would happen if TX lost.
Would TCU or Cincy get in... hmmmm...
Always good to have more friends Scott. Haven't discovered the wonderful world of elephant toe nail's yet. I did just pick up a nice Buck #124 and have placed an order for a fixed Martin Knives Tactical.
Many thanks. I have very little time before the holiday to finish up orders, so I'm not keeping up with the forum too well. I'll be more attentive after the new year.
Thanks for the B-day wishes... Just a little tidbit I like to spread about today: on this day in 1903 the Wright Brothers first took flight at Kitty Hawk.
So you have a trivia queston for the day.
Hi Scott, I didn't make the Parker show because I was already scheduled for a show in Dayton Ohio...which did turn out to be very good for me. Most of the shows I do are in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan. As of now, I'm planning on being at the Blade Show in Atlanta June 4-6 2010. I won't be there as a dealer just there to do business with the companies that I deal with.
hey Scott can you help me? i am looking for a past discussion or blog entry it was... "where do you buy your knives from" i think that was it, or somthing close. i dont remember who it was by, but i need some information from that discussion. do you or someone else reading this remember?? or how do i find an old discussion?
thanks,
CJS
I learned about the site through a newsletter from Blade this morning. I wasn't sure if Knifemakers were allowed, but figured if I joined and wasn't suppose to, the worst I get was chewed out! :) I'll be browsing around the site later tonight, after my shop day is done, and am sure I'll have questions!
Hey Scott,
thanks for the welcome. Glad to be a member. It's very cool there is a group who love knives and the hobby.
Looking forward to meeting folks and learning.
Stan
Hi Steve,

Thank you for the overwhelming welcome from those at iKC. I registered and two seconds later, I was receiving welcome(s) from assorted members.
I'm going to be a little delayed in getting photos uploaded as I am in the middle of a health issue that is inclusive of chemo. It hurts to do anything...
Anyway no matter as the prognosis of the situation is outstanding.
Thanks so much..everyone has been great and it was a real
treat to see Ed Caffrey here. I'm working on a new knife now
and when I get it finished I'll put in some photos..thanks again!
Thanks Scott, It is good to be here. I am still learning my way around this site. Is there a place for a "What is it" forum? I have a few knives I would like other collector opinions on. It would be nice to learn more about some of the knives I have. Thanks Again. Dave King
Thank you for the warm welcome! It sure looks like you have a lot of wonderful groups going. The EDC Club feels like a good place to start. Thank you for creating all this. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Hey mr King. I was gonna tell you my christmas was filled with knives. My parents gave me a nice gerber knife, my grandparents gave me 2 very nice browning collector knives, and Kaity gave me an awesome benchmade pocket knife. Hope yall have fun in Colorado! Stay safe.
Thanks for the welcome Scott. I'm already starting to feel right at home with all the nice folks welcoming me. Now if I can just get a handle on working my way around the site I'll be all set. Thanks again - Wayne
