I'm a multi-tasking father of 4, husband of one, real estate auctioneer and one who enjoys our hobby & nice knife folks.
Interests
Knife shows; KNIFE AUCTIONS; observing social changes brought on by technology and specifically its impact on our daily lives....and of course, all things Mac.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm digging through old bags and drawers to see what I have left over from the old days, and then I can figure out my web cam for uploads of them... til then I will will have font about them instead of photo them. ;)
Thanks for the welcome, Scott. Looks like you've started something great here.
I think I will enjoy it quite a bit. I was invited by my friend Tom Stratton.

You need to do a new poll here in iKC.
Age, yrs collected, avg $ amount spent on knives per month, etc
Maybe wait till we hit 1750 members or something?

We'll be back on duty tonight and hopefully get caught up again.

Nice collection of knives. I've never seen one of those sunfish/elephant toe knives in person, just pictures. They look real neat. I'm gonna have to get one sometime. Maybe I'll 'try' to make one one of these days. Nice site you have here too. Well, see you around, Jesse
Giveaways===>
Usually it is for post counts
1,000th post giveaway. 3,000th post giveaway. etc
You can do it a number of ways
I usually do it liek this:
1)Post a pic of your most SENTIMENTAL valed knife
2)Tell us why it is sentimental. Tell us the story behind the knife. Maybe your grandpa gave it to you. Or you got it when you went in the Army.
3)Pick a number between 1 and 500
4)Winner is picked by random.org http://www.random.org/integers/
Or
I will let my daughter pick the best story/knife
or
The pic that "moves me the most" is the winner
Usually the prize is a knife or something knife related
Thanks for the hosptality Scott. I know I will enjoy being a part of this site. I enjoy talking about knives and making them. I'm glad that you like my work. Regards J R
