Welcome To iKC…… Please visit often and you cannot contribute too much to the discussions, questions, knowledge base or photos…. If you have a passion for knives you have found a home. Great folks, always willing to help regardless if you are a tactical fan, folder fan, custom fan or maker… there’s something here, especially great knives and a support network to help you hone your collection, trade your collection or broaden your collection… AND yes I have the hat on so I can be more like our beloved leader Scott!
Hello Ross,
It's always good to hear from someone you know. Everything is fine at Al's. I always enjoy the comradery with all the other makers. You cant go wrong hanging out with some of the best makers in the world. It is always a good learning experience when you have the Master Smiths teach you. Regards J R By the way, nice work!

Was that some of our local women folk or the wild hog kind????
When you are down here again, bring a sample of you knives.
Did you know Ron Gaston or Russel Easler from the Woodroff area.... Both were members of the Knife Makers Hall of fame.... I have a couple of knives that I am going to be acquiring to resell in the coming few weeks.... Is there anyone you know around there that were special collector of their works... Gaston was from Woodruff but he collaborated for a while with easler.
No I'm going to have a few to sell..... It's an estate that I am assisting in the divesting of about 500 manufactured folders and 30 Custom Knives... Marvin Poole has one in there - a Gaston or to and a Easler or two..... I'm looking for collectors for these placements.
