Favorite Kind of Knives
bush knives, mostly german made and or styled ,both folders and fixed types. lock knives , fixed blade curved knives, thick bladed knives, i generally prefer carbon steel blades over stainless, and knives which offer a lot of feed back when cutting.etc. etc.etc.
About Me
My interest in knives as whole came quite late in life. But i have always had a admaration for well made hand tools, that give you lots of control and feed back as you work with them. like most men i have always had a strong affinity with mechanical things.
Interests
Most german engineered products during the world war two period. ie aviation, mechanised armour, transport vehicles, weapons of all kinds. plus most german made post war goods of a mechanical nature. and conversley crude but effective some russian made military hardware. Luftwaffe aircraft tend one of my favourites.
Other Hobbies
model making of: british railways, luftwaffe aircraft, german mechnized armour and transport, football, steam locomotives, greseley coaching stock etc. tv documentries, tv comedy: steptoe and son,fawlty towers, alan partridge, etc. bbc radio five live , dr karl.
