John Paul Jones (during the Revolutionary War while in combat with the HMS Serapis) "Struck sir? I have not yet begun to fight!"
Admiral Farragut (during the Battle of Mobile Bay of the Civil War after losing his fleet's monitor the USS Tecumseh) "Damn the Torpedoes! Full speed ahead!"
Eleanor Roosevelt (1945) "The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, the lowest morals of any group of animals I have seen. Thank GOD for the United States Marine Corps."

Welcome from me also.
Another quote that fits with yours;
On 22 December 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, Anthony Clement McAuliffe (1898-1975) was acting commander of the 101st Airborne Division in charge of the defense of Bastogne, Belgium. The advancing German forces called on his garrison to surrender. The Americans were surrounded. Instead, Anthony McAuliffe wrote:
"To the German Commander: NUTS! The American Commander." Bastogne was successfully held by the Americans.
