About Me
I am a retired soil scientist. I spent my entire career studying and mapping the soils of the Pacific Northwest, including Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana,
and Alaska.
Interests
I have been interested in R.H. Ruana knives and the stock market for some time. That's quite a combination!
Other Hobbies
Collecting museum quality mineral, crystal, and fossil specimens.

    Hey Gerry
    I just wanted to stop by and say, "Welcome." Glad you joined us.
    My Mom gave me a book when I was a kid called "Rocks and Minerals." It was a hand reference guide with lots of big names but cool pictures. Would you believe me that I found that book the other day. I was a rock collector at the time ('bout 10 years old). I had specialized by the time I was 12 to rocks with holes all the way through them. LOL.
    Anyway, thanks again. If I can help you in anyway, getting set up and situated here, let me know.
