    Hey Alec
Thanks for joining our knife community. I think you'll like it here at you spend time getting to know us.
I like the old rare Case knives too, particularly the old elephant toenails. Do you have any of those?
If you have any questions as you get settled in here, please let me know.

    Hi Scott,
I do have an old toenail. There was a nice old CASE BROS toenail up on ebay last week. I have a couple of really rare knives. I have a "Johnny Woodcarver" and I have two different push knives. I also have lost of case memorabilia. Some old bills and all the catalogs and a print block from one of the old catalogs.
Do you think people would be interested in photos online of all of this?
Oh, and thanks for the welcome.

    Alec,
Thanks for the good ideas. I was looking at the cold steel lineup. How does their pocket catch compare to Emerson's wave? It looks like it might not be as reliable, but Ive never actually had one in hand.

Right now I'm carrying a CRKT M-16 which is working OK until I can fork out the cash for an Emerson again. I think I'm going to go with the fighting bowie this time, I just love that blade shape.

    Thanks again,
    -Randy

Thanks for your comments about my dad's knives. I wish I had more to post but I can't find the flash drive that has them on it. I'll start working on that as soon as I have time. Kind of cool you are a musician. I've been a singer all of my life. I've won a few competions and I know a few musicians in Branson. What's your genre.

Thanks for your very generous comments, Alec! I do play with paracord a little. Some of my lanyards I make myself and some I just make better by adding beads to lanyards made my someone else.

Have a great evening, my friend!
